Pump Calculator

01Overview

Pump Calculator is a free engineering utility for computing pump and piping quantities — power, flow rate, torque, velocity head, temperature rise, fluid velocity, and Reynolds number. Every calculation runs entirely on your device.

The app does not require an account, a sign-in, or any registration. It does not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or location, and it stores no personal profile. This policy explains the one exception to that: the third-party advertising the app displays.

02Information the app collects directly

None. The values you type into the calculators are used only to produce a result on screen. They are not transmitted, saved to any server, or shared with us or anyone else. We — the developer — receive no personal information from your use of the app.

03Advertising and third-party data

Pump Calculator shows ads through Google AdMob, a Google advertising service. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects certain information automatically and shares it with Google. This is the only data that leaves your device.

The advertising identifier and related device information are collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. For how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. This data is encrypted in transit.

04How this data is used

The information collected through AdMob supports:

• Advertising and marketing — selecting, delivering, and measuring the ads shown in the app.
• Analytics — understanding ad performance and reach.
• Fraud prevention, security, and compliance — detecting invalid activity and keeping the ad network secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and the app performs no advertising, profiling, or tracking of its own beyond what the Google Mobile Ads SDK does as described above.

05Your choices and controls

You control the advertising identifier from your device settings:

• Reset your advertising ID — Settings › Privacy › Ads › Reset advertising ID. This assigns a new identifier not linked to the previous one.
• Opt out of ad personalization — Settings › Privacy › Ads › Delete advertising ID (or Opt out of Ads Personalization). Ads may still appear but will not be personalized.

The exact menu names vary by Android version and manufacturer. You can also review Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

06Data retention and deletion

Because the app keeps no account and stores nothing about you on any server, there is no personal profile for us to retain or delete. Data collected by Google through AdMob is retained and deleted according to Google's own policies; you can manage or reset the advertising identifier at any time using the controls in Section 05. To request deletion of data Google holds, use Google's account and activity controls.

07Children's privacy

Pump Calculator is a professional and educational tool intended for a general and technical audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app's advertising, please contact us so it can be addressed.

08Security

All data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols. As the app holds no personal data of its own, there is no stored personal information that could be exposed by the app itself.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or to legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above and post the updated policy at this address. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
